Seizures & Heat

By Geoffrey B.

Let me tell you some news about seizures & heat.  They don't work together very well.  The reason is because heat can trigger on a seizure.  85 degrees and up is a problem.  Summer time is the worst.  100 degrees plus heat index making it 105, I have to be in the house all day so I won't have a seizure.  The only time I am able to come out is when the sun goes down.  It is just that hot.

Seizures even affect people just taking a hot bath.  Any type of heat could trigger a seizure.  Here is a website on Brain Talk Communities that asks "Can heat trigger seizures?" Read what some of the people say about heat & seizures and see what you think.  Thank you and have a great day!
